Accessibility Statement

Statement date: July 8, 2026 · Reviewed annually

BISOMNA believes better rest should be within everyone's reach — and so should our website. We are committed to making bisomna.com usable by people of all abilities, including visitors who rely on screen readers, keyboard navigation, or reduced-motion settings.

1. Our Commitment

We treat accessibility as an ongoing responsibility, not a one-time checkbox. Accessibility considerations are part of how this site is designed, built, and updated, and we continue to improve as the site evolves toward our Q2 2028 product launch.

2. Standards and Legal Framework

This website aims to conform to Israeli Standard IS 5568, which adopts the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), at conformance level WCAG 2.1 Level AA.

We do so in accordance with the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 5773-2013, enacted under the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law, 5758-1998.

3. Semantic Structure and Navigation

The site is built with semantic HTML landmarks (header, navigation, main content, footer) so assistive technologies can move through pages predictably. Each page contains a single, descriptive h1 heading, followed by a logical heading hierarchy. Navigation menus carry ARIA labels so their purpose is announced clearly by screen readers.

4. Keyboard Accessibility

All interactive elements — links, buttons, menus, and forms — can be reached and operated with a keyboard alone. Visible focus outlines (using :focus-visible) show keyboard users exactly where they are on the page at all times.

5. Reduced Motion

The site respects your operating system's prefers-reduced-motion setting. When reduced motion is enabled, decorative animations are disabled. Background videos are ambient and loop calmly, without flashing content or rapid movement.

6. Images and Media

  • Informative images include descriptive alt text.
  • Purely decorative media is marked aria-hidden so it does not clutter the screen-reader experience.
  • All product imagery on this site is AI-rendered visualization, and we disclose this on the site itself.

7. Color and Contrast

The site uses a contrast-conscious ink-on-cream palette chosen for comfortable reading. We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 AA contrast ratios for text and interactive elements, and we do not rely on color alone to convey meaning.

8. Responsive, Zoom-Friendly Layout

Pages are fully responsive and remain usable when zoomed up to 200% or viewed on small screens. Content reflows without horizontal scrolling or loss of functionality, and text is sized in scalable units.

9. Known Limitations

We aim for full transparency about where the experience is not yet perfect:

  • Background hero videos are decorative and do not include captions. They contain no speech or meaningful audio — they are ambient visuals only.
  • Some content is presented as visual data visualization. In these cases, the key information is also provided as nearby text so no essential content is locked inside a graphic.

If you encounter any barrier not listed here, we genuinely want to know about it.

10. Third-Party Services

Payments are processed on the external pages of Tranzila, our payment processor. While we choose partners carefully, we cannot fully control the accessibility of third-party services. If you experience difficulty completing a payment, contact us and we will help you complete your pre-order another way.

11. Requesting Assistance or Reporting an Issue

If any part of this site is difficult for you to use, or you need information in an alternative format, please email [email protected] with the subject line "Accessibility". Please describe the issue, the page it occurred on, and the assistive technology or browser you were using, if relevant.

We aim to respond within 7 business days and to resolve confirmed issues as quickly as practicable.

12. Accessibility Coordinator

Our designated accessibility coordinator is [name of accessibility coordinator], reachable at [email protected].

13. Review and Updates

This statement was published on July 8, 2026 and is reviewed at least once a year, or sooner when significant changes are made to the site.
