Privacy & Cookie Policy

This policy explains what personal data BISOMNA collects through bisomna.com, why we collect it, and the rights you have over it. It also explains our cookie practices — which are unusually simple, because we do not use tracking cookies at all.

1. Who We Are (Data Controller)

Your Data

2. What We Collect

We collect only what you actively give us:

  • Pre-order details — name, email address, phone number, shipping address, and your chosen edition (Bisomna Core or Bisomna PRO).
  • Correspondence — emails you send to [email protected] or [email protected] and our replies.

We do not collect browsing analytics, behavioral profiles, or advertising identifiers. The site contains no third-party trackers.

3. Payment Data — Handled Solely by Tranzila

Payments are processed externally by Tranzila, an Israeli PCI-DSS certified payment processor. Your card number is entered directly into Tranzila's secure environment. Our website never sees, receives, or stores your card details. Tranzila's own privacy and security terms apply to the payment step.

4. Why We Use Your Data (Purposes & Legal Bases)

We use your data to:

  • Register and manage your pre-order, and ship your blanket from Q2 2028 (performance of our agreement with you).
  • Contact you about order status, delivery, the 30-day money-back guarantee, and the 5-year warranty (performance of our agreement, and our legitimate interest in customer service).
  • Respond to inquiries you send us (your consent and our legitimate interest).
  • Comply with legal obligations such as tax and consumer-protection record keeping.

Providing your data is voluntary and not required by law. If you choose not to provide it, the only consequence is that we cannot process your pre-order or respond to your message.

Your Rights & Our Practices

5. Your Rights Under Israeli Law (Including Amendment 13)

We operate under the Israeli Privacy Protection Law, 5741-1981, including Amendment 13 (in force since August 2025). You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct data that is inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated.
  • Delete your data, subject to legal retention requirements.
  • Be informed — at collection — that providing data is voluntary, of the purpose of collection, and of who it may be shared with (as set out in this policy).
  • Withdraw consent to further processing at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. You may also lodge a complaint with the Israeli Privacy Protection Authority.

6. Database Registration

7. How Long We Keep Your Data

We keep pre-order data for as long as needed to fulfill your order, honor the 30-day money-back guarantee and the 5-year warranty, and meet legal record-keeping duties. Correspondence is kept only as long as needed to resolve your inquiry and maintain a reasonable service history. When data is no longer needed — or when you ask us to delete it and no legal duty requires keeping it — we erase it.

8. Who We Share Data With

We never sell your personal data. We share it only with:

  • Tranzila, to process your payment.
  • Shipping and fulfillment partners, at the time of fulfillment, to deliver your order.
  • Authorities, where disclosure is required by law or a binding legal process.

9. International Transfers

BISOMNA is based in Israel and our first shipments will go to U.S. customers (Texas and California first). Your data may therefore be processed in both Israel and the United States. Where data is transferred between these jurisdictions, we apply safeguards consistent with Israeli privacy regulations governing cross-border transfers.

10. How We Protect Your Data

  • All traffic is encrypted with HTTPS, enforced by HSTS.
  • A strict Content Security Policy governs what the site may load.
  • The site runs no third-party scripts, removing an entire class of supply-chain risk.
  • Card data never touches our systems — it goes directly to Tranzila's PCI-DSS certified environment.
  • Access to pre-order data is limited to personnel who need it to serve you.

Cookies

11. Cookies & Local Storage

We set no tracking cookies. No analytics cookies, no advertising cookies, no third-party cookies of any kind.

The site uses only:

  • A single localStorage entry that remembers your cookie-consent choice, so we do not ask you again on every visit.
  • Storage strictly necessary for essential site function.

How to clear it: open your browser's settings, find "Site data" or "Cookies and site data", locate bisomna.com, and delete the stored data — or simply clear browsing data for this site. The site will keep working; it will just ask for your consent preference again.

12. If We Ever Add Analytics

If we introduce analytics or any third-party tool in the future, we will update this policy first and re-request your consent before any such tool is activated. Nothing new will run silently.

Additional Terms

13. Children's Privacy

Our site and products are not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has submitted data to us, contact us and we will delete it.

14. California Residents (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act gives you rights to know what personal information we hold, to request its deletion, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information for advertising purposes, so there is nothing to opt out of — but you may exercise your access and deletion rights at any time via [email protected]. We will not discriminate against you for doing so.

15. Bisomna PRO Companion App

Bisomna PRO includes fabric sensors and a companion app for sleep tracking. The app is not yet launched. When it launches, it will have its own privacy notice, sensor data collection will be strictly opt-in, and we will ask for your separate, explicit consent before any sleep data is collected. Bisomna is a consumer wellness product, and app data is treated as personal wellness data under this policy.

16. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time — for example, ahead of the Q2 2028 launch or the app release. We will post the updated version here with a new effective date, and for material changes we will notify pre-order customers by email.
